Position also requires 4 years of experience in engineering (industrial automation, automation systems, or process control), or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Telephone/bFo/email technical support role of industrial measurement instrumentation; Utilizing Process Instrumentation applications for Pulp &Paper, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Metal and Mining, Oil & Gas, and Water Wastewater industries; Utilizing Instrument terminology (Example: LRV, URV, Span, Range, etc.) and line symbols; Thermocouples, Thermistor, and RTD troubleshooting; Application, operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of pH, ORP, Fluoride, contacting and inductive conductivity equipment; Conductivity curves interpretation; 4-20 mA as well as the various industrial communication protocols (ModBus, FieldBus, FoxCom, HART & WirelessHART) and various communication tools/software (PACTware and HandHeld Communicators); and Interpreting RFQs model codes based on specification sheets and crossing over competitive model codes. Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
