The job consists of performing duties required to plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, fit, braze tubing, thread, weld complex piping, system components and weld coded, and noncoded pressure vessel assemblies and subassemblies, working with ferrous, nonferrous metals, using conventional or automatic submerged arc welding and difficult positions of stick, tig, and manual arc welding of Navy equipment. 4. Ability to use a tape measure, levels, laser levels, combination square set, fixtures, hand tools, pneumatic air tools, guarded platforms, ladders, and any other appropriate welding and material handling equipment.
