Communicate with Owners, Partners, Representatives, Fabricators, General Contractors, Suppliers, Architects and Consultants; Optimize job costs by negotiating prices with vendors/sub-contractors through quotations for material/services; Coordinate bid preparation requirements with the Contract Administrator; Interface with Owner and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility; Prepare budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders and assist in preliminary project schedules; Ensure proper project hand off when project is taken over by PM/Team; Review proposal specifications, drawings, and conditions to determine scope of work; Estimate Indirect cost including management, construction equipment and tools; Review all proposals internally before being submitted to Owner, Fabricator, and/or General Contractor customers; Training and mentoring of estimating staff and direct reports; What you'll need: 5+ year's steek estimating experience; Experience in industrial & commercial structural & miscellaneous construction work; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred; Benefits:
