High School Diploma or equivalent required; One year of experience in general office work or building codes/code enforcement; Familiarity with municipal policies and procedures, building codes and permits, code violations and enforcement procedures preferred; Good knowledge of business English and basic arithmetic; Must have excellent organization skills and use discretionary judgement in dispensing information; Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite applications and use of general office equipment; Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and be able to work effectively and collaboratively with co-workers, colleagues, and the public; Ability to follow all safety rules of the Village.
