Aeronautics Aerospace Stress Engineer Education Requirements


Individuals who wish to become an aerospace stress engineer need to earn at least a bachelor's degree in aerospace, aeronautical, or astronautical space engineering. To prepare for a career in aerospace engineering, individuals need to take courses in physics, chemistry and math. Some colleges offer cooperative programs to give aspiring engineers practical experience, while others offer a five-year program to ascertain a bachelor and master's degree. Graduate degrees allow aerospace engineers to work in research and development. While certification is not required for those entering entry-level positions, experienced engineers can earn the Professional Engineer license to assume more responsibility and a higher wage.
