Responsibilities Assist HSE Manager with risk management and environmental programs Maintain health and safety projects and documents Maintain safety, health and industrial hygiene records to insure regulatory compliance Assist HSE Manager with on-going coordination of safety communications, meetings, and awareness activities Maintain records of employee safety shoes and eyeglass reimbursements Track and document all employee safety training Track and document all employee safety reminders and required inspections (forklift, rigging equipment etc) Coordinate tracking all wastes that are removed from the facility, file manifests, and Certificates of Disposal Assist HSE Manager in researching and responding to customer requests and other requests as needed Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college/university or recent graduate Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health or Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Environmental) as a Rising Junior or Graduating Senior status Experience in Health, Safety, and the Environment (HSE) Strong MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel and Word Excellent communication and organization skills Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to work individually or as part of a team High attention to detail Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
