Job Details Essential Functions: Produce multimedia digital storytelling videos using stills, graphics, animation, sound effects, narration, and music to be aired/played on a number of platforms, including broadcast television, internet and social media channels Perform all phases of video and multimedia production from pre- to post-production including script writing, shooting, and editing Coordinate all logistics related to video production including locations, interviews, and equipment Operate field and studio cameras and related equipment to record a variety of project material in a variety of environments; make technical adjustments and troubleshoot equipment to ensure high-quality productions Prepare on-air graphics and production reports May direct single and multi-camera productions be including community events and live government meetings as needed Occasionally supervise the work of temporary crew members Qualifications Experience and Education Two (2) years professional work experience in television or film production, preferably producing short, edited content. Computer Skills Production software including non-linear editing systems (intermediate) Microsoft Office (intermediate) Required Licenses and/or Certifications Possession of a valid Driver’s License Knowledge Knowledge of video production methods and techniques and operation of a variety of video, sound, lighting and editing equipment (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, After Effects).
