Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimizes the functional abilities and skills of residents by assisting in the performance of the following activities: assisting in the screening of residents; implementing treatment for assigned residents; delivering treatment to achieve identified objectives according to the established treatment plan; appropriately documenting progress toward identified objectives and communicating resident status and needs to the resident, the resident’s family, the staff and other professionals as appropriate. Complies with Human Resource policies including, but not limited to, maintaining professional licensure in good standing, staying current for personnel file items (TB Test, CPR Certification, etc.), complying with State / Federal / HumanGood wage and hour law regulations, device management and Learning Management System (LMS) completion.
