Promote and coordinate CCHD’s preparedness activities with regional health departments, local governmental partners, the medical community, staff, other local health department (LHD) preparedness coordinators, and Oregon Health Authority staff to develop, incorporate, maintain, and create health-specific preparedness plans and policies. Develop and implement exercises and drill programs to assess and enhance the county’s ability to respond to and recover from emergencies; evaluate the ability of other public and private organizations to do the same/ facilitate after action analysis of incidents and submit to the State within 60 days.
