KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES - •7+ years of overall professional experience in new business development/innovation and consumer market research management •BS in Marketing/Market Research related degree, with an MBA degree preferred •Broad knowledge and experience in Market Research and New Product Innovation methodologies gained at successive levels of responsibility in multiple areas of consumer-packaged goods industry, ideally in Food & Beverage •Knowledge of corporate policies and compliance•Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies •Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest from remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skills. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES – •Manage the development and implementation of key new business development and new category innovation; identify white space opportunities to drive new business, new markets, and new category innovation, ensure appropriate Stage Gate Process and market validation for new businesses and new product launches, ensure cross functional alignment to innovation strategy/launch plans •Handle full market research and competitive intelligence responsibilities for the Business Unit, creating and discussing the design with clients, envisioning possible research issues and solving them, gathering the information needed to answer business’s questions.
