Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (3 years with Master’s, 5 years with Bachelor’s) in sustainability consulting, carbon accounting, circularity or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Developing policies accounting for environmental law and circularity regulations; Informing product development decisions with circularity, life-cycle assessments, EcoDesign principles, and materials science evaluation; Developing circular business models like resale, takeback, and recyclability; Developing LCA tool analyzing trade-offs on various environmental impact metrics; Measuring environmental impact using carbon accounting and Green House Gas protocols; Ensuring marketing claims on circularity are compliant with regulations; and Developing methodologies to account for avoided emissions from circularity initiatives. Develop and represent Schneider Electric’s position on circularity externally, through thought leadership, public policy advocacy, and communications, and liaise with other sector leaders to collaborate on systemic changes.
