Real Estate Escrow Title Jobs

Real Estate Escrow Title Overview

A real estate escrow title officer is generally responsible for assisting with real estate transaction closings. The individual may work with both residential and commercial real estate closings, and he or she may facilitate the closings by working with financing professionals, real estate agents, buyers, sellers and other parties involved in transactions. The individual generally will prepare closing statements, follow escrow instructions, disburse funds, record legal documents and perform other tasks related to the transaction. The successful candidate often must have great people skills and must be an effective communicator with a keen eye for detail. In some regions, being bilingual may be a benefit. Professionals may also hold positions like title escrow officer, title closer and others.

Real Estate Escrow Title Education Requirements

The education requirements for the position of real estate escrow title professional may differ slightly from company to company. It is common for employers to require a four-year degree in a related field, but many employers will also consider experience in lieu of a degree. Individuals who have experience in title work, real estate sales or real estate finance may be seriously considered by some employers for these positions even when they do not have a degree in a related field.

Real Estate Escrow Title Job Market

The job outlook for real estate escrow title agents and officers is largely dependent on the real estate market in the community. Escrow title agents process both purchase and refinance transactions, so the outlook for growth in many markets for the years to come is good. The states with the greatest number of opportunities are those with higher populations, including Texas, California and Florida. Related positions for title examiners and abstract professionals may be available in the insurance industry in markets across the country.

Real Estate Escrow Title Salary
