Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and perform field work, including surface water, wastewater, groundwater, soil, sediment, soil vapor, and air sampling; Provide construction oversight on environmental remediation projects; Conduct operations and maintenance of environmental remediation systems; Assist clients in maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations; Prepare daily and weekly field reports and progress reports; Prepare project documentation that is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures; Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communication and participation in work progress meetings; Assist in the preparation of the final reports, work plans, health and safety documents, and the assembly of report appendices; and. Skills, Experience and Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least two (2) years of experience with mechanical equipment and hands-on trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills or Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college and the ability to monitor several different types of construction and environmental activities simultaneously.
