Duties may include orientation and training of officers, inspections of officers and/or other departmental personnel on a shift or team, conducting pre-shift briefings, conducting broader reviews and audits of their respective divisions, review of all reports and investigations, activity coordination, initiation of discipline and internal investigations, conducting performances reviews, development of employees, personnel and task assignments, providing input concerning operational planning, researching and contributing to the development of agency policies and procedures, drafting and presenting documents, plans, or other operational matters, and other activities as directed by the Chief of Campus Police or their designee.
