Maintain GIS data and cataloging system Work with users to understand and produce special purpose maps Maintain and enhance geospatial data for projects Possess the ability to work in a group or independently Estimate the manpower, skills and time required to complete tasks Potentially facilitate and/or participate at FEMA Risk MAP meetings in support of community engagement activities related to flood risk study lifecycle Monitor and maintain Risk MAP study schedules and budgets, including providing input to Earned Value Management reporting Develop exhibits, graphics and work product in support of projects in Texas. Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic principles, survey and mapping GPS systems, aerial photographic interpretation, database development and management Familiarity with ArcHydro, HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS, HAZUS Basic programming/scripting in HTML5, Python, XML, JavaScript, FME, SQL Survey 1,2,3 ArcGIS Collector The annual salary range for this position is $60,500 - $75,510 and is dependent on candidate's qualifications as compared to minimum and preferred requirements.
